Lead Optical Packaging Engineer
Full Time | Salem, NH | Onsite
As the Lead Optical Packaging Engineer at GPD Optoelectronics, you will oversee the development of advanced packaging solutions, including package design, material selections, fabrication processing, qualification, and documentation. You will work closely with design engineers, process engineers, supply chain, operations technicians, facilities, and outside technical consultants.
Senior Wafer Fabrication Engineer
Full Time | Salem, NH | Onsite
The Senior Fabrication Engineer will manage the wafer processing operation in a semi-automated wafer fab with several manual operations involved, direct oversight of individual processes and operators, and ongoing process optimizations. Also, the ideal candidate will be familiar with more advanced manufacturing technologies/equipment and will help guide ongoing upgrades to the facility.
Quality Control Inspector
Full Time | Salem, NH | Onsite
The Quality Control Inspector will support the manufacture of commercial and high-reliability InGaAs and Germanium photodetectors. This position involves working in a microelectronics manufacturing environment performing quality-related functions, including external pre-cap/seal visual inspection, documentation review, simple electrical measurements, and data entry. You will participate in maintaining quality system processes (Deviations, CAPA, audit findings).
Assembler and Test Technicians (Small-Part)

With the assistance of microscopes and tweezers, our Assemblers will build and test components and sub-assemblies for high-powered products. The Test portion of the role is responsible for performing production test routines to meet performance criteria. The job involves specific procedures and instructions for operating machinery and often requires sitting or standing at a workstation for extended periods in a cleanroom environment.
Wafer Fab Processing Operator (Photonics)
Full Time | Salem, NH | Onsite
This Production role supports back-end wafer fabrication, including dicing, scribing, testing, and certifying wafer lots. It requires hands-on precision using tweezers to handle fragile semiconductor wafers, with strong attention to quality and process control. The role involves following instructions, collaborating with engineering teams, and may include photolithography, etch, PECVD, metallization, and wafer back grinding.
Business Development Manager (Bio-Photonics)

You will drive revenue growth in the bioinstrumentation and life science segment across North America. You will identify new opportunities, build strategic customer relationships, and drive demand for GPD’s optoelectronic components and integrated solutions within cutting-edge technologies such as flow cytometers, cell analyzers, fluorescent spectrometers, absorption spectrometers, imaging systems, and automation solutions.
